Critics Choice Awards 2026 Nominations: ‘Sinners’ & ‘One Battle After Another’ Lead the Pack
They came, they saw, they won—and now they celebrate.
Following the Golden Globe Awards on Jan. 11, many of the attendees kept the party going into the wee hours of the morning. After all, there was much to celebrate.
At the close of the ceremony—hosted by Nikki Glaser—the evenings biggest winners turned out to be Netflix series Adolescence, with awards for stars Owen Cooper, Erin Doherty and Stephen Graham.
While there was no dominant film winner, Hamnet, Marty Supreme, One Battle After Another and Sinners all earned nods.
While accepting her award for OBAA, Teyana Taylor shared a poignant message to her fellow “brown sisters and little brown girls” who were watching the ceremony.
“Our softness is not a liability. Our death is not that,” she said from the stage. “It’s not too much. Our light does not need permission to shine. We belong in every room we walk into. Our voices matter and our dreams deserve space.”
