Skier Breezy Johnson Engaged at Finish Line

A gold medal isn’t the only bling Breezy Johnson is leaving Italy with. 

Days after the skier took home Team USA’s first gold medal of the 2026 Olympic Winter Games, Breezy was treated to an extra special moment at the bottom of the super-G track: Her boyfriend Connor Watkins proposed.

“You have worked so hard and achieved so much,” Connor said from one knee as seen in a video posted by Today, “and yet you still find the time to love me, to make me feel special, and most importantly, you help me love myself.”

And as he and Breezy both grew emotional, Connor continued “There’s only one way I want to spend the rest of my life, and that is by your side. I love you Breezy, will you marry me?”

Through tears, the 30-year-old nodded her assent and the pair kissed amid the cheers of their Team USA friends and loved ones. 

But Connor wasn’t completely on his own for the proposal, as he popped the question with an assist from Taylor Swift.
