Adam Sandler doesn’t want this fake story to get any more clicks.
After AI videos of the comedian began popping up—ones of him claiming his daughter Sadie was at the center of an interaction at a Chanel store—the comedian called it “some dumb thing.”
“I’ve been hearing about this thing and I saw it, and it’s just insane,” Adam told People in an interview Feb. 6. “It’s just this made-up, weird thing that people ask me about. And I’m just like, ‘I’ve never heard of this in my life.’ That story was 100 percent insane and made-up, and not a word of it is true.”
Despite calling the AI story “pathetic,” Adam joked, “There’s also some story I heard about me going to an In-N-Out Burger at midnight and getting a bunch of Double-Doubles, and I have to say, that story is true.”
In the fake clips floating around online, an AI version of Adam—who shares Sadie and Sunny, 17 with wife Jackie Sandler—claimed his elder daughter was “humiliated” after attempting to buy a handbag at a Chanel boutique in Beverly Hills while dressed in casual clothes.
