All rise. Jury Duty is coming back.
Nearly three years after secret star Ronald Gladden captured hearts as an unsuspecting member of the public in the first season of the Amazon series, which also starred James Marsden, Amazon announced the concept for the second season of its Truman Show-inspired comedy: a company retreat.
Officially titled Jury Duty Presents: Company Retreat, the second season will follow real person Anthony, a hired temp who believes he is attending “a corporate offsite event at a family-owned hot sauce company,” according to a Prime Video press release shared Jan. 29.
The Company Retreat season will officially premiere on Prime Video March 20 with three episodes, release two more episodes on March 27 before concluding with a three-episode finale on April 3. Like season one, Anthony—whose last name has not yet been shared—is unaware he is living out a bizarre simulation surrounded by actors.
“Every colleague around him is performing a role,” the description adds, “and each moment—whether in conference rooms or during downtime—has been meticulously orchestrated.”
