Brooklyn Peltz Beckham Breaks Silence on Family Rift With David Beckham and Victoria Beckham
Life is carrying on for David Beckham.
Just one day after his and Victoria Beckham’s eldest son Brooklyn Beckham detailed their family rift on social media, David stepped out at the World Economic Forum’s (WEF) 56th Annual Meeting in Switzerland. While at the Jan. 20 event, David commented on the power of the internet, seemingly addressing his son’s bombshell accusations.
“I’ve always spoke about social media and the power of social media, for the good and for the bad,” the dad to Brooklyn, 26, Romeo, 23, Cruz, 20, and Harper, 14, said while appearing on CNBC’s Squawk Box. “The bad, we’ve talked about, what kids can access these days, and it can be dangerous.”
“But what I’ve found personally, you know, especially with my kids as well, use it for the right reasons,” the Inter Miami CF owner added. “You know, I’ve been able to use my platform and my following for UNICEF, and it’s been the biggest tool to make people aware of what’s going on around the world for children, and I’ve tried to do the same.”
