The year is 2016. Drake released “One Dance,” Moonlight won the Oscar for Best Picture, and our fashion sense was, well, something.
Everyone was scrambling to score a Kylie lip kit, our brows were big and blocky, and we rocked a full face of makeup (including a fierce cut crease) to class and to work.
The only acceptable shoes were a pair of Adidas Superstars, we tied flannel shirts around our waists, and you couldn’t go to a party without seeing at least ten girls wearing chokers.
