She also loves a good “boiling” hot tub in the winter months, adding, “I don’t know how to explain it, but it’s kind of incredible”

Mariah also gets down in the kitchen on Christmas Eve, utilizing her late father’s recipes, and on Christmas Day they have a “traditional dinner.” However, Mariah isn’t doing all the work alone, admitting, “I’m not gonna lie, people help, but I’ll get in there and do the mashed potatoes…I love it.”

And though she’s gotten comfortable wearing her crown as the “Queen of Christmas,” Mariah’s love for the holiday runs deep.  

“But I think it’s disrespectful to be, like, ‘That’s what I am, that’s who I am,'” she noted. “I just love the holidays more than any time. Even though like a lot of times we dress the place up to make music and to do this and that, it’s not the same as the actual holidays. Even when I spent Christmas in a place that’s not snowy, I am a traditional lover of the holidays.”
