White Lotus’ Walton Goggins, Aimee Lou Wood Feud Rumor, Friendship Timeline

What happens at The White Lotus resort doesn’t always stay at The White Lotus resort. 

Case in point: Walton Goggins, who played Rick on season three of the HBO series, and Aimee Lou Wood, who starred as his character’s girlfriend Chelsea, have managed to remain close since filming in Thailand wrapped in August 2024. 

And as the duo gear up to step out for the 2026 Golden Globes, for which they are both nominated for their respective roles in the dark comedy, it felt only right to take a look back on their sweet friendship—and all the highs and lows they’ve experienced along the way. 

Indeed, Walton and Aimee—who met after being cast in Mike White‘s award-winning series—sparked speculation of a feud in May after they seemingly unfollowed each other on Instagram. But less than a month before they opted out of viewing one another’s social media posts, the Justified actor had publicly praised his work with the Sex Education actress. 

“Thank you Aimee Lou Wood for being my partner,” Walton wrote in an Instagram post April 6, the same day the season three finale aired. “A journey I will never forget.”

And Aimee had been equally effusive about her onscreen partnership with her costar. As she put it in a April 7 Instagram, “R + C forever.”
