But just because Jennifer and Robert weren’t buddies at the time doesn’t mean they didn’t quickly dive into getting to know each other. In fact, the Oscar winner recalled taking “very embarrassing” interpretive dance lessons with the Twilight alum to prepare for Die My Love.
“We got to Calgary like three weeks before we started shooting,” she explained. “Rob and I both [are] embarrassed very easily, and that was mortifying. I mean, I’m not…a dancer, Rob’s [the] worst dancer.”
Ultimately, it was actually a relief for Jennifer to reach that first day of filming with Rob and director Lynne Ramsay, adding, “By the time she was like, ‘Yeah, get naked,’ we were just kind of like, ‘OK, at least it’s not interpretive dance.’”
And when it comes to baring all for a movie, Jennifer previously admitted that she is “not sensitive” about it.
