The model looked almost unrecognizable as she debuted a brand new ‘do in photos shared by hairstylist Dimitris Giannetos.
Dimitris posted a slew of photos of Gigi to Instagram Jan. 8 featuring the 30-year-old with a short, dark hairstyle, complemented by dramatic eye makeup and a sheer black top. The stylist captioned the photos, “Matte black Mini Bob.“
The look was a serious departure for Gigi, who has been known for her long blonde locks since she first started modeling. However, the supermodel has never been afraid to experiment with her hair, and even went platinum blonde in 2022.
And the year before going seriously blonde, Gigi also played around with red hair, debuting fiery locks at the Versace Fall-Winter 2021 Fashion Show and at the Met Gala, where she showed off a dramatic, red hairdo for the “In America: A Lexicon of Fashion” themed event in 2021.
